Naval defence

For over 30 years, Aubert & Duval has been along the world leaders in the design and manufacture of high performance metal parts intended for naval construction.
Its acknowledged know-how makes Aubert & Duval the reference supplier for major industrial development programmes covering the maritime sovereignty of multiple countries.
This reputation has been built over time thanks to very close partnerships with world-famous customers such as Naval Group, Areva Technicatome, CEA, Rolls-Royce Marine, BAE Systems, Babcock International and Navantia.
Aubert & Duval is capable of meeting the strictest requirements in terms of chemical composition, structural integrity, size tolerance and quality control.
Our products therefore meet the various military standards required for the construction of submarines, and also for aircraft carriers and frigates.

Products designed to resist hostile environments
Aubert & Duval offers a wide range of metallurgic products that meet the specific requirements of critical parts of the marine industry. They allow for procuring the best compromise between the mechanical properties (elastic limit, fatigue) and localized resistance due to corrosion (corrosion through pitting or cracking) in environments facing high pressures.
